Dr. Marc L. Gelman, MD, FACEP

Marc is an Associate Medical Director, Department of Emergency Medicine with the Scarborough and Rouge Hospitals.
Marc was born in the US where he did his residency and trained in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital. He came to Canada in 1995 and has amassed a host of clinical and hospital appointments including work as Emergency Physician at the Buffalo Mercy Hospital and Mt. Saint Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston New York.
In Marc’s own words:
I want to improve patient care through better information sharing and streamlined process in emergency situations. We can certainly do better by utilizing all available technology in the healthcare space and getting beyond the last century’s past processes and practices.
